Governance and College Council

William Clarke College is an independent Anglican school in the Sydney diocese of the Anglican Church. 

The College is governed by a school Council consisting of Christian men and women, both clergy and lay, from various fields of commerce and the professions.

Collectively these individuals form the William Clarke College Council whose major responsibilities include:

  • To employ, enable and empower the Head
  • To plan for the future
  • To set policy
  • To review College management and performance through the Head
  • To promote the Christian ethos and foundation of the College
  • To pray

College Council meets monthly during the term and has four main sub-committees: Governance, Finance, Building and Foundation.
