Thank you to our incredible College community for the amazing support shown for the World’s Greatest Shave (WGS) this week. Seeing so many students and staff sacrifice their hair to help beat blood cancer was truly inspiring.
On Wednesday, the amphitheatre transformed into a pop‑up salon as nine Secondary School students along with Mr Senathirajah, Mr Arthur and Mr Gupta braved the shave. The cheers and encouragement reflected just how much this cause means to our community.
Primary students continued the momentum on Thursday, with 10 students proudly taking their turn in the chair joined by Mr Fischer and Mr Talbot, who also shaved their heads in support. Crazy Hair Day brought an explosion of colour and creativity, from glittery spikes to rainbow braids, helping raise even more funds. Mr Smith also sported a colourful style and lent a hand with the clippers, while our Service Prefects guided Primary students in making heartfelt cards and bracelets for those affected by blood cancer.
Together, we’ve raised almost $14,000, helping provide essential support to families in need. If you’d like to contribute, please click the link below.
