It has been a big week for our Year 10 cohort, who stepped out of the classroom and into workplaces across Sydney and beyond for Work Experience. Students gained genuine hands-on experience while building confidence, developing practical skills and making meaningful connections between their learning and potential career pathways.
They have ventured into an incredible variety of workplaces, from Amelia S working at The Children's doctor in Bella Vista, and Anvi S and Alynna B learning about physiotherapy at Active Back care, to Jaden L, Ashveer R and Indy B working on the tools at RentServ, William R gaining insight into the media industry at Channel 9, and Millie M joining Matthew Gibbons (Class of 2017) at Greenleaf legal just to name a few. We also saw Grace G travel to Nelson Bay to work at the Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters, where she spent the week forming friendships with a range of sea creatures and making lifelong memories.
We are incredibly grateful to the many businesses that welcomed our Year 10 students so generously and invested in their learning throughout the week. We hope this experience has sparked plenty of new conversations and helped students discover where their passions might lead.
