Drought Awareness Week

General News

This week the Secondary School are raising awareness and money for our farming communities with ‘Drought Awareness Week’ on behalf of Rural Aid. Although we have seen very welcome rain in the past few weeks, it has not reached all rural communities and it is not expected to be enough to break the drought for much of our state. For those who have been blessed with rain, recovery will take time.

Collection buckets will make their way around our Secondary student community this week and all funds raised during our special lunch time food stall on Thursday will be donated to Rural Aid. To show your support of ‘Drought Awareness Week’, donations are welcome via Rural Aid.
